About Me

First and foremost I am a follower/disciple of Jesus Christ. I know that I don't always live the way Jesus calls me to live but I am, with the help of the Holy Spirit, becoming more and more like Jesus. My wife and I were married on April 26, 2003 and we have two great boys. I am a stay-at-home dad and work part-time for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA. I received a Bachelor degree in Youth Ministry from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL and a Master of Arts degree in Christian Thought from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL. I love to read and I am always looking for ways to connect Theology with everyday living. I believe that everything we encounter in life is based on some sort of theological thinking based out of a worldview (not always Christian). When we understand the theological underpinnings of the things in this world we can engage the world better.
